- Network engineer responsible for running and maintaining the network producing all Alabama Drivers' Licenses. Over 120 sites connected over a WAN spanning the entire state. Maintain storage and security of demographic database and photo and signature image files.
- Developed and wrote policies and procedures manuals. Automated update and reporting procedures. Cross-trained staff personnel on automation skills, increasing level of efficiency in logistical, operational and administrative tasks. Reduced "learning curve" training time for new personnel.
- Developed system of documentation including technical notes, standard operations procedures and a Disaster Recovery Plan. Resulting system allowed for improved troubleshooting efficiency by pooling staff experience base. System permits easier change management for documenting changes from the recommendation stage to implementation and after action review.
- Systems developed and documentation produced permitted recovery operations to take place with no down time for remote sites. Remote sites never realized servers replaced twice. Servers maintained 99.75 availability rate (planned and unplanned down time).
